Privacy Policy

AgentPulse is built by TrueSource Studio (Hope & Glory Studio, Düsseldorf, Germany). This policy explains what data the app accesses, how it's used, and what it never does.

The short version: We read your product catalog to score it. We only write changes you explicitly approve. We never access customer data. We never sell data.

What data we access

AgentPulse requests these Shopify API permissions:

read_products / write_products — We read your product catalog (titles, descriptions, images, variants, metafields) to run the audit. We only write changes you approve in the Optimizer's review gate.
read_publications — We check whether your products are published to the agentic sales channel.
read_legal_policies — We check whether your store has published refund, shipping, and privacy policies (an audit check).

Agent Fingerprint — AI provider data sharing

When you run the Agent Fingerprint feature (Pro plan), we send product titles and descriptions to AI providers (OpenAI, Google, Anthropic) to simulate a buyer agent's decision. This is done to test which AI agent prefers your product.

What we send: Product title, description, price, category.
What we never send: Customer data, PII, order data, financial data.

Data sent to AI providers is subject to their respective privacy policies. We use API access only (no training data submission) and do not opt in to model training with any provider.

Data storage

Audit scores and fingerprint results are computed in real time and displayed in the app during your session. They are not currently stored on external servers.
Future versions may introduce persistent score tracking. If so, this policy will be updated before any server-side storage is enabled.
We do not store customer information, order data, or payment details.

What we never do

We never auto-publish changes to your store
We never access customer or order data
We never sell or share merchant data with third parties
We never use your data for advertising
We never submit data to AI model training programs

EU AI Act compliance

The Optimizer generates AI-drafted content improvements. Under the EU AI Act Art. 50 (transparency for AI-generated content, enforced from August 2, 2026), merchants must stay accountable for published content. AgentPulse enforces this through a mandatory review gate — every AI-drafted change must be explicitly approved by the merchant before it touches the live store.

Data deletion

AgentPulse does not currently persist data on external servers. When you uninstall the app, no residual data remains. If future versions introduce server-side storage, all data will be deleted within 30 days of uninstall. You can request information about your data at any time by emailing us.

GDPR & data protection

As a German company, we comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Since we do not process personal customer data, the standard GDPR data subject rights (access, rectification, erasure) apply to merchant account data only.
